A dinner to The French Stall is something the role Audrey Tautou acted in Hors Dex Prix would never go for. But to someone who is a stranger to the world of the fine dining cuisine and someone who craves for the taste of France, The French Stall is the starting point for every Singaporean who wants a slice of France.

7pm, Plaza Singapura.
Lawrence and i met each other, before we decided we should head down to The French Stall, located at Little India by taking the free SMRT shuttle Bus.
8pm, Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station
Where is Jess??
8.20pm, Farrer Park MRT Station
Lost in translation. 2 men trapped in nowhere around Mustafa Centre. A woman had no clue where she is arrives the train station.
8.30pm, 150M away from Farrer Park MRT Stn, 50m from The French Stall.
Lawrence went to pick Jess up, while i made reservations for a table for 3 at the stall. Am fighting with the Frenchs for the menu.
8.40pm, The French Stall.
Jess and Lawrence reached the pre-war shop house, and waiting for the kind hostness to lead us to a table for 3.
8.45pm, The French Stall.
Flipping thru the menu, and we were introduced to Cauliflower Soup, which was the soup of the day.
And the rest follows...

Eh...from left clockwise: garlic bread, deep fried chicken leg with potato pie and porkchop with baked layered potato, fries and garlic bread plus cauliflower soup...

And after the meal...

Giant profitorale with vanilla ice cream drenched with hot chocolate sauce and home made tiramisu. Utterly sinful, but not eating something made in heaven is equally sinful as well. Hee...

TBC...

Somewhere around the corner in the city lies a man with some past...
