This City Never Sleeps

Australia!

First of all, apologies for not updated the blog for a long long time. As usual, the work drags me down, and rips me off my time to flow my creative juice here.

And now, let's talk about Australia.

Why Australia?

For the month of August, many things around me has been surrounded by Australia. People I know are flocking to Australia for furthering their studies, Sis went to Aussie for her 10 Days in Australia. Me? Buying Australian stuff and watch Australian movies.

(Just receive a good news from Sis: She help me to buy the DVD of Planet Terror at AUS $30!)

People: Elias and Linus are furthering their studies in Aussie. Sis enjoying the koala bears in Sydney.

Me? Just last Sat, I watched an Australian movie that was unfortunately, very, very, bad. What's the show? The Book of Revelation.

It is such a horrible show, that I just felt cheated. Especially when I am paying S$10 at The Cathay for a Sat nite show and yet...not only you get a crappy ending, but just do not know what the hell is about.

Here you had Tom Long, who plays a handsome dancer, who was kidnapped and sexually abused by 3 lustful women for 12 days. He decided to look for them thru one night stand and seek revenge. Get it? The end of the story. =(

Nevermind. Some retail therapy with Australian brand cures the headache after the show.

Billabong has finally opened 2 new outlets in Singapore!

After landing Singapore with 2 outlets in Sentosa and Raffles City Shoppe, Billabong now presents 2 new outlets: The Heerens and Anchorpoint.
The Heerens is the biggest outlet after Raffles City. With the official opening for yesterday, it opens with a big bang. Free wallets with any purchase. Go for a lucky spin with every purchase.
And to stretch your dollars, utilise the offer wisely.
I made 2 purchase: a belt and a mini metal bottle opener. And I got 2 wallets and 2 spins: a metallic mug and a umbrella. Still remember what the sale assistant told me: Many wanted a umbrella as it was pouring with loads of woofs and meows. (But I must say, the small little umbrella that can barely shield a lady selling at $29.90 is simply not worth it. Giordano's $6 umbrella is big and strong. Looks classy and elegant. Great!)
As for Anchorpoint, it will soon to be well know to Singaporeans as Billabong Outlet. What is so special for Billabong Outlet? Here, after the season for the design has come to an end, remaining stocks will be taken to the shop and sold at a much more lower price. Minimum 30% off. Many falls at 1/2 price. Some at 70% off.
Of course it will be a waste if I enter the shop and gets nothing. I gotten myself a tee at $23 from the usual $46, and a sports socks at $5.90.
And I went back to the outlet at Heerens again. This time, I bought myself a Elements red water bottle, and got a wallet + a mug from the spin. I was eyeing for the tees from the spin!

As you can see from the above, that's part of my stuffs I received from Billabong with purchase.

OK. Better save some $$$ now for my NYC trip in future. =)

Somewhere around the corner in the city lies a man with some past...
